Pawel Wojciechowski, Poland

Paweł Wojciechowski was born in 2002 in Olsztyn, Poland and began studying music at the age of four. From October 2021 he is a student of the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris in the class of prof. Rena Shereshevskaya and the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the class of prof. Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just.


Paweł is a laureate of many national and international piano competitions. Among them are: IV Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition – I prize (Busko – Zdrój, Poland 2019), IV Compeition for musicians ATMA – Grand Prix (Zakopane, Poland 2019), International Piano Competition in memoriam of Vera Lotar – Shevchenko - I prize and Audience Award (Yekaterinburg, Russia 2018), Piano Competition memory Halina Czerny - Stefańska and Ludwik Stefański - Grand Prix (Plock, Poland 2018), International Competition of  Young Pianist dedicated to the Work of Fryderyk Chopin – I prize, EMCY prize and prize for the best performer of J. S. Bach’s work, (Narva, Estonia 2018), Hua Biao International Piano Open Competition – I prize (China, 2018), International Krogulski Piano Competition – I prize and special prize ,,Special Promising Talent’’ (Tarnow, Poland 2018), Fryderyk Chopin Competition for Young – I prize (Konin, Poland 2017), International Piano Competition “Peace and Music” - 1 prize and special prize (Pietrozawodsk, Russia 2016). 
 

He has taken part in master classes led by Dina Yoffe,  Kevin Kenner, Alexander Kobrin, Vladimir Slobodyan, Wojciech Świtała, Paweł Zawadzki, Zbigniew Raubo, Elżbieta Stefańska and Lubow Nawrocka.


In 2015, on the professor’s Vladimir Slobodyan special invitation, Paweł Wojciechowski performed in Kaliningrad with the Kaliningrad Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also played at Warsaw Philharmonic Hall, Salle Cortot in Paris, Eindhoven Philharmonic Hall, Kaunas Philharmonic Hall, Tallinn Philharmonic Hall, Jelenia Gora Philharmonic Hall, Kielce Philharmonic Hall and Olsztyn Philharmonic Hall, among other venues with the Lower Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kaunas Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the Holy Cross Philharmonic and Olsztyn Philharmonic Orchestra. Paweł performed also on Fryderyk Chopin’s Birthday Concert in Warsaw. He is a three - time recipient of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and scholarship programme “Young Poland”. He is under the care of the Polish Children’s Fund and Rotary Club.
