Olivia Yang, USA

Olivia Yang, 14, has won several national and international awards and originally hails from Charlotte, North Carolina. Recently, she received second prize in the Lyra Competition based in New York. She made her orchestral debut with the Charlotte Symphony as the winner of the Young Artist Symphony Guild Concerto Competition at age 12. Olivia was awarded first prize in the 2018 International Muse Competition as well as first place and Judge’s Distinction Award at the American Protege International Concerto Competition. She is the first prize winner in multiple Piano Solo State NCFMC Scholarship Competitions. She has played in venues such as Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall.

Olivia currently studies with Dr. Bonnie Anderson and attends school at Phillips Academy Andover.
