Sophia is ten years old, and she is a 5th-grade student at East Elementary in Sharon, Massachusetts. She has been studying piano with Ms. Tanya Schwartzman since she was five years old. Sophia loves music, loves performing, and learning about music. She has won multiple awards at piano competitions including the 1st place at the IV Paderewski International Piano Competition, the 2nd place at the International Young Artist Piano, the 1st place at the MMTA 51th Annual Bay State
Piano Contest, and the 3 rd place at the Steinway Society of Massachusetts Piano Competition.

Outside of piano, Sophia is active in sports. She is currently a Level 5 Rhythmic Gymnast. In her spare time, Sophia enjoys tennis, reading, and drawing.

Awards in 2021
1. 3 rd Place in Division 1 (age 10 and under) at the Steinway Society of Massachusetts Piano Competition
2. 2nd Place in Group of Age 8 - 11 at Musical Romantic Style Festival
3. 4th Place in Junior category at XII Chopin International Piano Competition, Hartford CT - Online Edition
4. 1st Place at Young Promise International Competition

1. 3rd Place in Division 1 (age 10 and under) at the Steinway Society of Massachusetts Piano Competition
2. 2nd Place in Group 1 (age 8 and under) at the International Young Artist Piano Competition
3. 4th Place in Junior category at V Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition-Special Online Edition
4. 1st Place and Special Achievement Award at the Little Mozarts Piano Competition
5. Bach Award in the little pianist division (age 7-10) at the URI Piano Extravaganza!
