Born in Boston, Norman began playing piano at age 4 and is currently studying with Alexander Korsantia and Ya-fei Chuang at NEC Prep School.

 

Norman has been honored to win top prizes from many regional and international competitions, 2022 MTNA Piano Competition of Massachusetts, 2022 RADDA RISE International Piano Competition , 2020 XI Hartford Chopin International Piano Competition, 2020 Solo and Concerto Division of 2021 William Knabe International Piano Competition, 2020 Steinway Piano Competition for North America and Canada and more.

 

Norman enjoys collaborating with other musicians; as an active member of the NEC Prep Chamber Music program, he performed piano trios in Jordan Hall at the year-end chamber showcase concerts in 2021 and 2022. Winning the PianoTexas Junior Concerto Competition earned him the honor to perform with the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra in 2022. Participating in the Internationale Mozarteum Salzburg 2022, he was awarded the opportunity to perform at the festival's final concert. Aside from the piano, he is on the school high honor roll for academic excellence. He is also preparing for the Chemistry Olympiad in 2024.

 

In his spare time, Norman loves to share the joy of music, so he organized a group of young musicians to perform regularly for senior residences in the Boston suburban area.
