Agnus Cai, USA 

Agnus started learning playing the piano at the age of five and has been under the tutelage of Tanya Schwartzman for four years. In the 2020 Crescendo International competition she was awarded the 1 st prize. Agnus also received the third prize in the Paderewski piano competition in 2020. In 2021, Agnus won the 1 st prize in the Young Promise Competition. In 2022, Agnus won the 3 rd prize in the international Chopin Competition and the 2 nd prize in the 2022, Great Composers Global Competition –Best Bach Performance Edition among others. This year, Agnus obtained the 1st prize in the XIV Chopin International
Piano competition piano competition,

 

Agnus enjoys playing the piano for the community. Agnus performed at a senior home in Rhode Island. She also played at the winter light festival for the local community. Agnus also enjoyed playing music with others. She performed a piano violin duet with her friend in a recent NEPTA recital.

 

Agnus is generous child who likes to talk and laugh. Agnus enjoys hearing jokes as well as giving them. She is passionate about traveling and prefers sleeping in hotel rooms than home. Agnus cannot decide whether she finds more pleasure in playing the piano or reading. In her spare time, Agnus find a lot of pleasure playing with her chickens and her citron crusted
cockatoo.
