Aleksandra Dąbek, Poland

Aleksandra Dąbek was born on 1st October 1996 in Cracow. She graduated from the Academy of Music in Cracow with distinction. She was a student of the piano class by prof.Ewa Bukojemska and of the period piano class by dr Katarzyna Drogosz. At the moment Aleksandra is a doctoral candidate at the Doctoral School of The Academy of Music in Cracow. Her tutor is dr hab. Marek Szlezer.

Aleksandra started learning to play piano at the age of seven at the Public School of Music of I grade in Krzeszowice. Her teacher was Beata Zając. The key role in her education played Olga Łazarska. As her student Aleksandra graduated from the Wladyslaw Zelenski State Secondary School of Music in Cracow . Between 2012-2015 she mastered her skills in the piano class by prof.Wojciech Świtała. Aleksandra took place in many masterclasses conducted by Andrzej Jasiński, Tobias Koch, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, Dimitrij Bashkirov, Dimitrij Alexeev, Kevin Kenner, Fumiko Eguchi and Krzysztof Jabłoński.

Aleksandra played concets at many Polish and international festivals such as: „Muzyka w Starym Krakowie”, „Wawel o zmierzchu”, „Chopin au Jardin”, „Lato z Chopinem w Busko-Zdroju”, „Duettissimo!”, „Abu Zabi Festival”, „Chopinowskie Interpretacje Młodych”. She has played many concerts during Saturday recitals at Chopin's birthplace in Żelazowa Wola as a guest invited by The Fryderyk Chopin Institute. She played twice the recital in the Fryderyk Chopin Museum taking part in „Młode Talenty “ series.d She played both, modern and historical piano. In 2016 Aaleksandra made her debut in Carnegie Hall and the Austrian Hall of Ehrbar Saal. Aleksandra performed with the Orchestra of the Swietokrzyska Philharmony , with the Silesian Chamber Orchestra and she played many concerts with Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra in Dubai

In 2018 Aleksandra released her first longplay “Chopin, Schumann”. Aleksandra Dąbek is a scholarship holder of The Grant of The Yamaha Foundation. In 2012 she received the monthly piano grant of the Morningside Music Bridge at the Mount Royal University in Calgary (Canada). In 2010-2015 she was a scholarship holder of the National Foundation for Children. Many Times Aleksandra received grants from The Sapere Auso Foundation and grants from the Mayor of Trzebinia.
